Building on the love of learning and exploration fostered in elementary school, middle school classes are collaborative and personalized, filled with practice and discussion.
Students also engage in various enriching programs and cultural experiences that serve as critical outlets for creativity and self-expression and foster self-awareness, confidence, and independence.
We aim to meet students where they are academically and socially, engage them in inquiry and mastery, and personalize their instruction while considering their diverse backgrounds, interests, and needs.
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a nationwide organization that recognizes outstanding middle school students in grades 6–8 at the Community Charter School of Paterson. Membership is based on five pillars: scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. NJHS honors students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to these core values. For more information, families may contact the NJHS advisor, Ms. Jennifer Califano, at jcalifano@ccsp.org.
