NFL Star and Super Bowl XLII Champion, David Tyree visits CCSP!

On Wednesday, May 26, 2010, Baltimore Raven Wide Receiver, David Tyree addressed a group of 4th grade students at the Community Charter School of Paterson (CCSP). Tyree, who gained fame after making a spectacular one handed catch off of his helmet propelling the NY Giants to victory in Super Bowl XLII, is a native of New Jersey. In addition to his Pro-Bowl career, Tyree is also a renowned public speaker and author. His 2008 release “More Than Just the Catch” tells his story of hope, courage, and achieving the impossible.
Tyree, talked to students about the importance of having good character and how your character defines who you are and what you do. Tyree, was very gracious staying after the presentation to sign autographs and take pictures with students and teachers.
